Concierge psychiatry is a model of care delivery for outpatient psychiatry services that is characterized by exclusive and accessible care. Dr Kittay’s concierge practice is purposefully limited to a small number of active patients which allows for meticulous, personalized care.
Extended sessions are routine, and there is always direct access by private phone. In addition to promptly scheduled in-office or telemedicine appointments, patients can arrange to be seen in the privacy and comfort of their home or office.
Dr. Kittay is licensed to practice medicine in Florida, New York, and Massachusetts. This assures seamless continuity of care for those who travel to or reside is those states. There is access to care in Palm Beach, New York City and Boston, while summering in the Hamptons or on Cape Cod, or relaxing on Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.
However, accessibility is much more than convenience. Access fosters an invaluable close one-on one therapeutic interaction between patient and doctor. Dr. Kittay prides himself on the close relationships he forges with all his patients. Empathy, respect, caring and compassion are the values he practices every day with every patient.
Private Pay
We pride ourselves in providing exceptional quality of care, access, comfort, and privacy to our patients. To provide exclusive and exceptional care, without restrictions imposed by insurance companies, Dr. Kittay has chosen not to be on any insurance panels. This means he can focus on his patients. His priority is exceptional medicine and service, not the interests of an insurance company.
To maintain this level of service, our professional fees are private pay. We are not part of Medicare or Medicaid, nor do we accept any commercial insurance. However, if you have insurance coverage for out-of-network providers contact your insurer about reimbursement.
Private Confidential Care
Dr. Kittay recognizes confidentiality is very important to everyone. Unless given specific permission, we will not share any of your health-related information with any family member or an employer.
Confidentiality is mandated in America by HIPAA laws, specifically the Privacy Rule. Legal protections prevent revealing any information related to psychiatric, alcohol, or substance use or care even under oath in court in most cases.
Legal Confidentiality is one aspect of the big picture, recognizing and treating each patient with the care, respect and the dignity they deserve. Every effort is made to make you feel safe and comfortable. Privacy extends to more than medical record information.
