Concierge Psychiatrist
Concierge psychiatry is exclusive, personalized, and convenient care. My goal is for you to achieve a sense of well-being and optimal mental health because I prioritize your care. I only see a limited number of patents to insure I’m available to you when you need me. This immediate access reduces anxiety and promotes a smoother path to recovery.
Appointments are scheduled when you need help, typically the same day or next day. You can contact me directly without having to call the office, talk to ancillary staff or speak with an answering service. Your ability to easily reach me means your concerns can be promptly addressed, making you feel seen, cared for and safe.
As your concierge psychiatrist, I provide:
- Direct access by phone, text messaging or email.
- Routine and emergency appointments via telehealth video conferencing.
- Same day or next day appointment scheduling for established patients.
- Expedited new patient evaluations usually within 1-2 days.
- On-time appointments with minimal waits.
- 30-minute routine appointments.
- Same-day responses to phone, text, and email messages.
- Same-day prescription refills.
No Retainers
We are one of the only concierge practices that does not charge a retainer. A retainer is a monthly or annual fee paid to the concierge practice to be a patient. We function as a private pay practice so that you are only charged for services that you receive.
Private Pay
We pride ourselves in providing exceptional quality of care, access, comfort, and privacy to our patients. To provide you with the highest quality of care, without restrictions imposed by insurance companies, Dr. Kittay has chosen not to be on any insurance panels. This means he can spend more time and attention devoted to your care. His priority is your care, not the interests of an insurance company.
To maintain this level of service, our professional fees for all services are exclusively private pay. We are not part of Medicare or Medicaid, nor do we accept any commercial insurance. However, if you have insurance coverage for out-of-network providers you should be able to be reimbursed by your insurer.
Private Confidential Care
Dr. Kittay recognizes confidentiality is very important to everyone. Unless given specific permission, we will not share any of your health-related information with any family member or an employer.
Confidentiality is mandated in America by HIPAA laws, specifically the Privacy Rule. Legal protections prevent revealing any information related to psychiatric, alcohol, or substance use or care even under oath in court in most cases.
Legal Confidentiality is one aspect of the big picture, recognizing and treating each patient with the care, respect and the dignity they deserve. Every effort is made to make you feel safe and comfortable. Privacy extends to more than medical record information.
